Amazon Review on Super Saver Shipping

Hey all! For all those who have used Amazon, and never tried their Super Saver Shipping deal,
I want to explain how it went with me trying it. Super Saver is a deal where you basically spend
a certain price on a certain amount of items, (usually $30, and you have to check if there eligible,
which it will say on the listing if the item is or not), and then you get free shipping. Usually they
are shipped two to three days after purchase, and you usually get it the same week. I ordered a
batch of books on November 23, and they were shipped November 25, with me getting them on
November 28. Packages come with a big box from Amazon and all the items are usually placed
on top of each other. At least if you're in the United States, it's a very efficient deal, and you
will usually get you items just a few days later.

For the Lolita in Mind - Some Art Books for Inspiration

So I have to say, my section on alternative fashions, and the one I want to focus on the most,
Lolita fashion, has been poorly underwritten. I suppose I did put myself in a bit of hot water,
making a hobbyist blog on everything I liked, instead of doing a semi-normal blog with one or
two topics, but it doesn't really bother me. That was my intention from the beginning, that when I
get bored on one subject, I can focus on another that interests me. With that said, since I've been a
fan of Lolita fashion for some 10 years, (around 2002), but only started wearing it for about
two years now, topics covering it will not come as often as I'd like, but that's okay! When the time
comes, I'll be sure to really update that section, but I'll take it one step at a time!

Now as Christmas season is coming up, I thought what I could do is recommend books
that I think girls in the fashion will enjoy one way or another. ( Of course anyone who has a liking
for old-fashioned things, or fantasy/surreal things will probably like it too!) These are coffee-table
books, so the majority isn't even about reading; it's to enjoy the photos.

I'm recommending three books here, one being Teddy's World, a photo book on antique
teddy bears, Magic Land of Toys, a photo book covering antique and modern toys, and
The Fantasy World of Josephine Wall, covering art from the surreal/ fantasy artist. I do
recommend these not just for fans of Lolita fashion, but for anyone who has a liking for
    old-fashioned things!

A New Idea for Interviews

Hi, everyone! Do you remember this post ? I'm still going to do this of course, and
will probably have new interviews up during the summer, but what I wanted to talk about here
was my idea on specific creator pages. I have, like any person, preferences for some author or
director works over others, and also, like any good fan, like to dig around for interviews.

In the post I linked to, I  mentioned I'll rewrite interviews from the old magazines I own,
but what I'm talking about here, is more of a universal idea for not only anime and manga,
but on actors or book authors I really like. I thought, what I can do is, say I do a small biography
page on a author I like;then I'll link to various sites that had interviews on that person,
and put them on one page. Sometimes, contact pages are not available on all sites, but I won't
rewrite another's interview here, (minus my magazines), just offer a link so you can read the
interviews yourself. So, it's a big project, and I might need some help on it in the future, but for
now, I'm going to keep it simple, and try doing a page after this post.

How I Will Do Book Reviews.

Hello, and good morning people! So some of you might be wondering if I'm going to do these introductory posts in every webpage on this blog. I'm not. I'm doing this for any story related things, so it will just be for the Books, Animation/Graphic Novel Section, and Film/Live Action TV section.
So what will I be doing for book reviews? I'm not going to do a star/point rating system, but if you read the other entries, that's a little obvious, haha. Book reviews will have a general, non-spoiler review of my thoughts on the overall book, and then I will critique it in later entries, chapter by chapter.
So if you want the non-spoiler review, check out the general review, not the chapters!
